Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League accessibility overview and first impressions

Hello dear friends. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is available now for everyone and I recorded a video showcasing my experience with the game as a totally blind individual.
Long story short, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is not at all accessible to me, although it includes text to speech and navigation assist. The lack of universal design and specific sound cues makes it completely unapproachable.
If you watch the video, you’ll see that I can navigate the menus without issues, but as soon as the gameplay begins I die a lot because I need to jump and there are no ledge guards or sounds to let me know from where and to where I should jump.
Also, the controls are not narrated and neither are the tutorials on screen. This shows once again that it is not enough to have accessibility features, but the most important thing is to ensure that you test them and work on them alongside disabled players.
The screen narration is definitely not the best and hopefully it will be changed in the future because at this point it is just serviceable. From my time with the game I can say that I really like the way the DualSense controller feels in fights. Both the voice acting and soundtrack sound excellent.
You can find a few details about the game below, in case you are not familiar with it. Developed by Rocksteady Studios, creators of the best-selling Batman: Arkham series, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League combines the studio’s signature character-driven storytelling with a seamless fusion of enhanced traversal mechanics and fast-paced, action-packed combat, which can be enjoyed solo or with up to four players via an online cooperative mode.
Featuring an original narrative set in the DC Universe against the backdrop of the vibrant open-world of Metropolis, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League picks up five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight as players take on the roles of DC Super-Villains Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark. Restrained with lethal explosives implanted in their heads, the Squad has no choice but to band together as part of Amanda Waller’s infamous Task Force X and embark on an impossible mission to defeat the world’s greatest DC Super Heroes.
Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend ahead.
