The LEGO Group unveils first ever LEGO SpongeBob SquarePants set for adults, available from September 1 with preorders open now

This is the LEGO Icons set 11386 SpongeBob SquarePants: Bikini Bottom, featuring three distinct houses and six character figures. On the far left sits a brown, dome-shaped rock house with a tan base and a yellow weather vane on top. In the center stands a tall, dark blue rectangular house shaped like an Easter Island head, featuring round gray windows for eyes and a brown arched door for a mouth. On the right is a large, round orange pineapple house with a textured diamond pattern, topped with large green leaves and featuring a light blue door. The set includes a pink, star-shaped Patrick figure, a light blue Squidward figure, a yellow, square SpongeBob figure, a pink and blue Gary the snail figure, and two translucent pink jellyfish on a green, rounded base.

In celebration of the inaugural SpongeBob Day and SpongeBob’s birthday in the animated series, today the LEGO Group unveils the LEGO Icons SpongeBob SquarePants: Bikini Bottom building set. In partnership with Paramount Products & Experiences, the set features iconic locations, fan-favourite characters and references to memorable storylines, the set is a playful tribute to the spirit and humour of Bikini Bottom.

With 1,794 pieces, the set includes Bikini Bottom’s most recognisable landmarks, including SpongeBob’s cheerful pineapple home, Squidward’s Easter Island-inspired house and Patrick’s famously ‘minimalist’ rock residence. A vibrant Jellyfish Fields scene completes the display, bringing to life the sun-soaked, slightly surreal undersea world that has entertained audiences for more than 25 years.

Behind each facade lies a treasure trove of details. Builders can take a Krabby Patty break in SpongeBob’s home, complete with a fully furnished living room and bedroom, explore Squidward’s carefully curated living space, or uncover the surprising interior beneath Patrick’s rock.

Fans can relive iconic moments with a cast of beloved characters including SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward recreated in Minifigure form, and brick-built characters Gary the Snail and DoodleBob for a touch of chaos. Packed with playful nods to classic moments from the series, builders will also discover hidden details, including the legendary boatmobile, Squidward’s clarinet (ready for another attempt at musical greatness) and a treasured portrait of Gary. The set invites fans to revisit a world where the ordinary is anything but.
