PlayStation Underground: Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture

Welcome back to PlayStation Underground, our online show about video games! Today, we go underground with Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, a poignant exploration of the apocalypse, and a snapshot of 1980’s England. For those looking for an emotional, story-driven experience, look no further than this upcoming PS4 project.

I get mellow on the couch with The Chinese Room Studio Manager Tom Turner, who guides me through an empty — yet somehow idyllic — English town that is left in the wake of a catastrophic event.

Tom discusses the team’s passion for the project, the evocative script, and the incredible, dynamic score that adapts to each player’s experience through technical wizardry I dare not attempt.

Let me know what you think in the comments, and remember that we’ll be back soon with more Underground in the weeks to come. Enjoy the show.
