Rise of the Tomb Raider only a timed exlusive for XBOX
Yesterday, the folks at Crystal Dynamics have announced at the Microsoft gamescom 2014 media event that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released as an XBOX exclusive during Holiday Season 2015.
This news wasn’t received very well by the Tomb Raider fans, and today, Phil Spencer brought the good news in an interview with Eurogamer by saying the the title is a timed exclusive only.
After the exclusivity period ends, Crystal Dynamics can release Rise of the Tomb Raider on any platform.
As far as I know, the Tomb Raider’s reboot, from last year sold better on the PlayStation platforms, so I’d expect to see Rise of the Tomb Raider on PlayStation 4 and PS3.
