We’ve been invited to hold a workshop at the KLOSSexpo LEGO convention

Victor and Alina are sitting at a rectangular white table scattered with hundreds of colorful LEGO pieces in shades of teal, yellow, pink, and white. Victor, on the left, is bald and wearing a black jacket and T-shirt; he looks focused as he holds a pastel-colored LEGO creation in his hands. Alina, on the right, has dark hair tied back and is smiling warmly while holding her own intricate LEGO build and a small card. Both are leaned slightly forward, engaged in their activity. In the background, the room is filled with natural light from tall windows, revealing yellow and white LEGO furniture and large LEGO sculptures, including a tall giraffe and a big blue circular display marked “LEGO HOUSE Home of the Brick.” The setting appears fun and creative, with a light, energetic atmosphere surrounded by playful LEGO-themed decor.

Hello, dear readers. Alina and I have just graduated from being guests to being guest speakers at the largest LEGO convention in Norway, KLOSSexpo

This is a huge honor for us as we are quite new at being Adult Fans of LEGO. Nevertheless, we are happy to do it, especially since our workshop will be about how blind people can build LEGO.

Alina has created a nice presentation which will run in the background as we talk about how important LEGO is in our lives and also about all the resources available for blind builders and their friends or family.

We are even more excited to shine a spotlight on this important subject right now as October is World Blindness Awareness Month. Of course, we need to talk about blindness every day, not only this month, but since so many people are coming to KLOSSexpo, this gives us a unique opportunity to inform, influence, and educate so many in the young generation about this.

The workshop will be from 11 to 12 on both Saturday, 11th October, and the same for Sunday, the 12th.

If you are there, feel free to say hello and ask any questions you want. Also, even if you don’t visit but are curious about this subject, just send me an email, and I’ll be happy to answer.

KLOSSexpo will be so much fun, and we can’t wait to be there!
