The Team

The project was a collaborative effort involving 23 specialists from the LEGO Group and McLaren Automotive. Over 8,344 hours of development and construction went into this build, utilizing 393 different types of LEGO Technic elements.

Inspiration and Innovation

This project not only highlights the incredible potential of LEGO Technic but also aims to inspire the next generation of designers and engineers. By bringing elements of the original McLaren P1™ to life in such a realistic and functional way, the LEGO Group and McLaren hope to push the boundaries of automotive innovation.
