Capcom Spotlight: Resident Evil 4, Exoprimal, Monster Hunter, Ghost Trick and More!
The Capcom Spotlight provided a look at what’s new and upcoming in the world of Capcom! The digital broadcast unveiled new updates on future titles, including a thrilling demo for the reawakened Resident Evil 4 dropping today, the latest dinosaur forecasts for the launch of Exoprimal on July 14 and its open beta test coming next week, plus a June 30 release date for the revival of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.
The Capcom Spotlight event also confirmed the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion will spread its wings to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation™ systems on April 28, transmitted the latest download on fresh features making the leap to Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, introduced the final in-game commentator for Street Fighter 6, and more!

Resident Evil 4 Demo Available Today!
Resident Evil 4 producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi joined the presentation to announce the Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Democomes out later today! There are no limits for how many times players can experience this new reimagining of Leon’s first steps into the mysterious European village. The Chainsaw Demo will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
We hope the Chainsaw Demo prepares fans for the horrors that await when Resident Evil 4 releases on March 24, 2023.
Exoprimal Suits up to Take Down Dinosaur Outbreaks on July 14
Today’s dinosaur forecast revealed Exoprimal will deploy for a battle of the ages on July 14, 2023 across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. The online team-based action game will be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and Cloud.
Capcom Spotlight also introduced new Exosuits, dinosaurs, and the upcoming Open Beta Test.
The Exoprimal Open Beta Test (OBT) takes place next week. The wargames run Friday, March 17 at 00:00 GMT – Sunday, March 19 at 23:59 GMT on all platforms. The OBT will feature cross-platform matchmaking, enabling Exofighter squads to compete against rival units on other systems.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective Snaps into the Spirit World on June 30

Street Fighter 6 Drops the Mic with New In-Game Commentator Reveal
Street Fighter 6 is revolutionizing the series with its all-new real-time commentary feature. Today, Capcom announced that popular Japanese actress Hikaru Takahashi joins the fray as the eighth and final in-game commentator at launch. The real-time commentary feature incorporates the voices of popular Fighting Game Community (FGC) commentators and influential personalities to narrate matches in real-time with easy-to-understand gameplay explanations. The four expert play-by-play commentators include Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez, Ryutaro “Aru” Noda, Kosuke Hiraiwa, and Steve “TastySteve” Scott, with a tag team of four Color Commentators including Hikaru Takahashi, Thea Trinidad, H.E. Demon Kakka, and James “jchensor” Chen. Subtitles for the real-time commentary are also available in 13 languages.
