If you love LEGO and live in Norway, you have to join us at KlossExpo 2024

a promotional poster for "KLOSSEXPO 2024." It features a scene made entirely of LEGO bricks, depicting a lush green forest with trees, a small house, and a body of water with a dock and a boat. There are LEGO figures of people and animals, such as birds, in the scene. The text on the image reads: "KLOSSEXPO 2024. KLOSExpo arrangeres 5. og 6. oktober 2024 i X Meeting Point ved Hellerudsletta rett utenfor Oslo. Billetter er nå i salg!" There is also a "ticketmaster" logo indicating where tickets can be purchased.

LEGO is Life

KLOSSexpo 2024, will take place on October 5th and 6th at X Meeting Point near Hellerudsletta just outside Oslo and promises to be a thrilling event for LEGO enthusiasts of all ages. Featuring Norway’s largest LEGO exhibition, activity zones, a shopping area, food trucks, a stop motion studio, and even a cinema, this year’s convention will take over 5,000 square meters and fill them with incredible LEGO creations that stretch the imagination.

As someone who is totally blind, I cannot wait to attend this LEGO convention and immerse myself in the vibrant community of LEGO creators. While I may not experience the visual spectacle, for me, the magic of LEGO lies in its creativity, collaboration, and the connections it fosters. I’m thrilled to chat with fellow LEGO builders and exchange ideas about this beautiful craft.

My wife Alina and I recently became Adult Fans of LEGO aka AFoLs, and this event will be our first major foray into the wider world of LEGO enthusiasts. We are excited to share this adventure together, experiencing the unique builds, hands-on activities, and the palpable energy that a community like this brings.

I believe that building LEGO worlds is one of the most beautiful and rewarding activities on this planet. Its endless possibilities bring joy, inspiration, and connection across generations, and I’m super happy to be part of this incredible community. KLOSSexpo 2024 will be an amazing opportunity to meet others who share the same passion, and I look forward to the enriching conversations and new friendships that await.

To all my fellow LEGO fans out there—join us at KLOSSexpo! If you see us, feel free to come and say hello! I may not see you, but I’d love to connect. October is also Blindness Awareness Month internationally, so if you have any questions about blindness or accessibility, don’t hesitate to ask. As a totally blind journalist, accessibility advocate, consultant, tester, and public speaker, my mission is to inform others about the blind and low vision community. Let’s celebrate both LEGO and diversity together at KLOSSEXPO 2024!
