LEGO unveiled the LEGO Ideas Downton Abbey (21373), available October 1

A tan, rectangular LEGO model of Downton Abbey with two tall, square corner towers and a central entrance sits on a dark wooden table in the foreground. Twelve minifigures wearing various colored outfits stand in a horizontal line across the front of the model. Behind the table, the real Highclere Castle, a large tan stone building with multiple tall, square towers and many rectangular windows, rises from a green lawn under a clear blue sky.

Today, the LEGO Group unveils the LEGO Ideas Downton Abbey (21373), a spectacular 4,711-piece building set designed for adult fans. Inspired by the beloved TV series and movies created by Carnival Films, the richly detailed model of Downton Abbey based on the real-life Highclere Castle invites builders to answer the bell, cross the threshold, and step into a world of sweeping architecture and secrets tucked behind every door.

The set pays tribute to the award-winning franchise, allowing fans to explore the distinct division of life “upstairs” and “downstairs” in a stately Edwardian home. As the Dowager Countess herself famously asked, “What is a ‘weekend’?” For fans, it is now the perfect occasion to settle in, take tea and construct this magnificent display piece steeped in Downton Abbey detail.

The set’s modular design allows builders to lift off the top level to explore the bustling kitchen, servants’ hall, and Mr. Carson’s office below, before ascending to the grand dining room, main hall, and library. From the ornate exterior architecture and the towering cedar tree to the intricate interior details, the set serves as an elegant home or office decor piece, befitting even the stateliest spaces.

Authenticity is at the heart of this set, capturing a fascinating era of historical transition when candlelight still flickered beside the first glow of electricity. Builders will discover authentic period details, including a mix of lighting sources, an early electric mixer in the kitchen, and a 1910s–1920s candlestick telephone in Mr. Carson’s office. The set also includes historical portraits, dining etiquette layouts, and a servants’ hall dining table arranged strictly by rank.

The set includes 13 detailed Minifigures representing the iconic Season 6 household: The Dowager Countess, Lord Grantham, Lady Grantham, Lady Mary, Lady Edith, Tom Branson, Mr. Carson, Mrs. Hughes, Mr. Bates, Anna Bates, Thomas Barrow, Mrs. Patmore and Daisy Parker. Each minifigure features double-sided face prints, and additional clothing elements specifically designed for seated positions at the dining table.

The LEGO Ideas Downton Abbey product idea was originally submitted by Czech Fan Designer Sebastian Veselka (LEGO Ideas name: BRO3) as part of the LEGO Ideas crowdsourcing platform. LEGO Ideas invites fans to submit product ideas, which are then voted on by the community before being considered for production as official LEGO sets.

The building experience is filled with society secrets and below-stairs discoveries, including easter eggs referencing Sebastian Veselka. Builders can search for the servants’ bell board featuring a playful “LEGO room” label, newspapers bearing the fan designer’s initials (SV), and a heart-shaped tree base nodding to the series’ romantic scenes.

LEGO Ideas Downton Abbey (21373) is available for LEGO Insiders* from 1 October 2026 and for all customers from 4 October 2026, priced at £269.99 / €299.99 / $349.99. Discover more and purchase at LEGO.com/DowntonAbbey or visit your nearest LEGO Store.
