The LEGO Group revealed the LEGO DC Batman: Batman Returns Batmobile

A black Lego Batmobile model angled slightly to the right, featuring a long hood with a central turbine intake and large bat-wing fins at the rear. A small Lego Batman figure stands to the right of the vehicle next to a black display plaque that reads "LEGO," displays the Batman logo, and "BATMAN RETURNS" in white text. The car has a central cockpit with a tinted windshield, exposed silver mechanical details on the side, and large black tires with the Batman logo on the hubcaps.

Today, the LEGO Group in partnership with Warner Bros.s Discovery Global Consumer Products, unveiled the LEGO DC Batman: Batman Returns Batmobile (76355). The 2,269-piece set, inspired by the legendary vehicle from the 1992 film Batman Returns™, recreates the sleek silhouette, intricate details and unforgettable transformation sequence of one of cinema’s most recognisable Super Hero vehicles.

The latest in a series of LEGO Batman™ display models, this set brings the distinctive vehicle from Tim Burton’s Batman Returns™ to LEGO brick form for the very first time. Featuring authentic details, an innovative transformation function and hidden references from the film, the model celebrates one of Batman’s most memorable on-screen appearances.

From its elongated bodywork and jet turbine rear engine to the opening canopy and detailed cockpit, every element has been carefully recreated to reflect the Batmobile™ as seen on screen. Builders can also discover several hidden details throughout the model, including The Penguin’s tracking device, inspired by memorable moments from the film.

A highlight of the set is its transformation feature. For the first time in a LEGO Batmobile model, builders can press a button to release the vehicle’s side panels, revealing the sleek Batmissile™ escape vehicle hidden within. An innovative lift-arm mechanism recreates the dramatic transformation seen in Batman Returns™, allowing fans to display the model as either the Batmobile™ or the Batmissile™.

To recreate the vehicle, the LEGO design team developed three new LEGO elements specifically for the Batmobile™ and Batmissile™, including a new Batman™ Minifigure cowl. The set also includes an exclusive Batman™ Minifigure with a newly moulded cape, created specifically for this set, and displayed on a dedicated stand featuring the Batman Returns™ logo.

The LEGO DC Batman: Batman Returns Batmobile (76355) will be available for LEGO Insiders* Early Access from 1st September 2026, and for all from 4th September 2026, priced at £189.99 / €209.99 / $229.99. Discover more and purchase at LEGO.com/Batmobile or visit your nearest LEGO Store.
