The LEGO Group reveals the LEGO NINJAGO The Old Town 15th Anniversary Set

This LEGO NINJAGO "The Old Town" 15th Anniversary Building Set is an intricate, vibrant construction representing a classic NINJAGO village scene. The set’s design draws on traditional East Asian architectural motifs, blending them with signature NINJAGO fantasy elements. The central focus is a multi-level complex composed of several interconnected buildings. The dominant colors are black, red, and dark brown, accented with gold trim throughout the rooftops, railings, and tiles. The roofs are styled with black rounded tiles and upturned corners, giving a pagoda-inspired silhouette, while bright red pillars and balconies add visual impact. Several golden ornamental trees with stylized branches, as well as lush pink cherry blossom trees built from delicate LEGO elements, bring a sense of vibrancy and celebration. To the side, there’s a green-roofed market stand with brown structural supports, a food stall with a serving counter, and a small stone shrine topped with gold cups and detailed in grey and tan bricks. The compact layout of streets, bridges, and staircases encourages interactive play and storytelling. Numerous LEGO minifigures populate the set, each with distinct attire and accessories evoking their role in the NINJAGO universe. The characters are depicted in various poses—some in ninja suits with weapons, others resembling villagers or vendors. Colorful minifig outfits in red, gold, blue, green, and white add diversity, with accessories such as swords, rice hats, and small banners giving further character distinction. Two minifigures are depicted as if jumping or fighting, suspended in midair above the rooftops on transparent supports, suggesting a sense of dynamic action. Others are placed throughout the winding walkways, balconies, and vendor stands. Additional decorative details include lanterns hanging from archways, ornate signs with eastern-style glyphs, blossom branches, and small garden patches. The overall composition blends organic and architectural features, making it a visually rich and immersive set that commemorates 15 years of the NINJAGO franchise.
