Hello dear friends. Last week we upgraded our PS5 storage with a 2 TB M2 SSD from Corsair and immediately after posting about this on Facebook, I realized that some of you are interested to find out more about this procedure.

So, as a result of that realization I decided to post this article which also includes a video tutorial from the official PlayStation support YouTube channel that will make it even simpler for you to install some much needed extended storage. The video will guide you through how to follow the necessary steps in order to do the same upgrade on your own PS5.

We decided to get the Corsair MP600 2TB M2 SSD because with almost all of the new releases biting more than 100 GB of space, storage management became a huge problem. I was always forced to delete older titles in order to install new ones that are coming for review on a regular basis.

We did some research and ordered the Corsair. We’ve got a good price I think, around €180. So now we should be all set for the future. The fact that we were also waiting for the PlayStation VR2 encouraged us even more to consider this upgrade.

Alina installed the SSD without any problems. The procedure is easy and quite safe. Just make sure you follow the steps provided in the video above to the letter and everything will be OK.

Happy gaming everyone!
